Oromocto is a small town about a 15 minutes drive from Fredericton -the capital city of New Brunswick, Canada.

In the header photo is the car park which leads to the picturesque view of Oromocto River.During high tide the effects can be seen by waves moving in the opposite direction of the course of the, Oromocto River. When added to the spring melt as well as the release of water from the Mactaquac Dam can contribute heavily to flooding especially in low lying areas closest to the Rivers.
